[DIS.CONTINUITY AND DIS.ORDER]
In The Order of Things: An Archaeology of the Human Sciences, Michel Foucault
states that discontinuity and continuity reflect the flow of history and the fact that some "things are no longer perceived, described, expressed, characterised, classified, and known in the same way" from one era to the next.
According to the theoretical framework of the discontinuity theory suggested by Thomas Pradeu, effector immune responses are induced by an antigenic discontinuity; that is, by the sudden modification of molecular motifs with which immune cells interact.
How important is continuity/discontinuity for our mind, processes and creation?

[IMMUNO.EDITING]
The concept that the immune system can recognize and destroy transformed cells was first described in the immunovigilance hypothesis of cancer of Paul Erlich, Macfarlane Burnet and Lewis Thomas. Recently, it has been discovered that the immune system can edit / sculpt the tumors. This biological edition serves as a motto for the house-body theme. To what extent does our house, our body, recognize, eliminate, balance, or succumb when something is beyond our control?

[SELF.NOT-SELF.DANGER.TOLERANCE]
The notions of proper and non-biological self were presented by Frank Burnet and
Frank Fenner in 1949 and clarified in 1974 by Rolf Zinkernagel and Peter Doherty
in a paper in the journal Nature. In the 90's of the last century Polly Matzinger
introduced the notion of danger as a model for explaining the immune response and
tolerance to what does not pose a threat.
The notion of self, danger and tolerance serve as a motto for a visit to
fields of biomedicine and creativity.
